A Thank You — “The Stockton Record”

Sonja Phipps plays four roles opposite newcomer Brandon Chaffin, as Littlechap’s women in Stockton Civic Theater’s current production of “Stop the World — I Want to Get Off” onstage through April 3, 2011

From Artistic Director Jim Coleman — “As anyone who works in a non-profit theatre knows, getting the word out to the public about what you do is absolutely essential to success. To have a local newspaper that is willing and happy to support and offer coverage and reviews of productions is a huge asset. We have that locally in The Stockton Record. Over the past few years we have cemented a very positive relationship with The Record, and I want to publicly thank Robin Nichols, Don Blount, Lori Gilbert, JoAnn Kirby, and Tony Sauro for all that they contribute to our success by giving us preview articles and reviews, whether good or not. I really trust and appreciate their constructive criticism. This is also important for our patrons, and helps keep us in the forefront of the Arts community in our area. Please accept our great gratitude and my personal thanks from the bottom of my heart.”
