Rolling in the aisles with RUN FOR YOUR WIFE

SCT’s currently running production of British playwright Ray Cooney’s Run for Your Wife has audiences rolling in the aisles at every performance. London cab driver John Smith has a very complicated work schedule, and with it, two wives! Nobody knows what anybody else is doing in this hilarious farce, including either of John’s wives, either of two detectives, or the gay neighbor upstairs-until John’s photo makes it onto the front page of the newspaper-then the fun begins. Only two weekends of performances left, on Thursdays at 7:30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00, and Sundays at 2:30. Saturday night adult tickets two for the price of one for this production only. Box Office open 9:00–1:00 Tuesdays through Fridays, or online 24/7. Rated PG

Welcome to SCT!

Stockton Civic Theatre’s new blog is now accessible from our website homepage, or from its own URL. As in most blogs, we will use it to publish news and announcements on a very frequent basis. Target audiences are our SCT actors and volunteers, but we hope this will be equally attractive to patrons who have an interest in backstage and front of the house happenings. Subjects will include just about anything you can imagine:  short profiles on cast and crew, up to the date auditions and cast announcements, special needs of the theatre, fundraising reports, and any statements that need to be posted online immediately. All it takes to be considered for publication will be a rough draft submitted to the News&Cues email address, available on our website. We can easily publish announcements from theatre management, the Board, show directors, and volunteer groups. We can make pleas for helpers, promote shows, and publicize special events. We can also post photos, sound bites, videos, you name it. We’re really glad to be here with you, and want to help you however we can!
